This is a community created Route through Switzerland to show you our personal non touristic highlights!

It's a country with one of the most beautiful and most protected nature.
Everything is super expensive and it got lots of laws and rules. 
If you have the chance to explore it you should definitely take as much time as you can eat tuna out of the can. (to save money for the highlight)
 
THE HIGHLIGHT
This is definitely gonna be the most insane thing you do in Switzerland!
Hike up to the "Hörnlihütte", spend a night there and hike back down.
Park the bike at the Taxi place. Pack a backpack with snacks, water, first aid kit and a flashlight.
Put on proper shoes and take the gondola to "Schwarzsee"(2'580m).
From here you hike 2-2.5 hours to the hut.
The trail is well marked but steep and partly exposed. Call the hut first if the have a bed available. You spend roughly 150 CHF including breakfast and dinner on 3'260m.
You probably not gonna sleep well but you wont get enough of the view anyway!

Generally, wild camping is not forbidden in Switzerland. However, in some cantons or regions local restrictions might apply to Swiss National Parks, Swiss game or wildlife reserves, nature reserves or designated wildlife areas during the protection period.

Campfires: During Summer or Winter when precipitation is rather low, making an open fire might be temporarily prohibited in order to prevent wildfires. Please check the current situation on the Meteo Suisse web page where all hazards and warnings are released on a daily basis.
